·         ORIGIN: Inspired in car phones, the first cell phone was made in 1973 by the American scientist Martin Cooper.

·         CHARACTERISTICS:  Cell phones were big and very expensive in the past, but now they come in different sizes and prices. You can also choose from different models and colors.

·         FUNCTIONS: You can use your cell phone to talk to other, send text messages, play games , go on the internet, take pictures, and much more.

·         SAFETY and RIKS:                                                                                        
·         Cell phone emit radiation and it is possible that they can cause health problems such as        changes in brain activity, sleep disorders and even cancer, but there is no conclusive evidence        in this respect.
·         Cell phones can be dangerous for drivers, as they increase the risks for accidents.
